1. The green look:

    1. Two 15-gallon trees in front and two in side yard if on a corner lot;

    2. Six 5-gallon shrubs;

    3. Fifteen 1-gallon shrubs;

    4. Finish grade and lawn.

b.       The desert look:

1.      Two 15-gallon trees in front and two in side yard if on corner lot;

2.      Six 5-gallon shrubs;

3.      Fifteen 1-gallon shrubs;

4.      Finish grade of all disturbed areas;

5.      Accent cactus;

6.      Granite in front, side and visible rear yards.          

 

           Elevations subject to public view of over 3000 square feet are required to have landscaping proportionate to the size of the lot.  (3/1/07)

Storage Materials, tools, trash, vehicles, etc.
During construction all trash and construction debris shall be contained in either a temporary dumpster or other container.  Under no circumstances shall construction debris or trash be allowed to blow onto adjacent property or into the desert.

Except during construction and for a period of 60 days after completion of a structure, there shall be no unconcealed storage of materials, tools, machinery, parts, containers or vehicles of any kind, except for a reasonable number of operable and licensed automobiles.

 The storage of tools, landscaping materials and/or instruments, household effects, machinery or machinery parts, empty or filled containers, boxes or bags, trash materials, or other items that shall in appearance detract from the aesthetic values of the property shall be so placed and stored to be concealed from public view.  Trash for collection may be placed at the street right-of-way line on regular collection days for a period not to exceed twelve (12) hours prior to pick-up.

  1. Trailers, motor vehicles, boats, etc.
    Trailers, campers, boats, motor homes and motor vehicles which are under repair, junk, old inoperative or unlicensed, and other similar type objects shall not be parked on driveway, on streets, alleys or other public thoroughfares.  Parking of such objects shall only be permitted on lots if concealed from public view.

Motor homes, travel trailers, utility tractors, other trailers and boats shall be stored, parked or located at a residence only if concealed from public view.  Such vehicles can be parked in front of a structure for a maximum of 2 days.  (Reworded 3/1/07 to clarify.) 

  1. Satellite Receivers
  1. Application must be made to and approved by the Committee of Architecture prior to the installation of any satellite receiver dish.
  2. The application shall include:
    1. A dimensioned site plan;
    2. Size of dish and dish material;
    3. Profile sketch of the proposed installation;
    4. Type, size and placement of screening to be used.
  3. Installation will be in the leased visibly accessible location on the lot and placed so that the dish is not sky-lined from the adjacent properties or streets.  However, rear lot installation is highly recommended.
  4. Equipment will be color blended to match backgrounds from visible locations.
  5. Installation of dishes over 2' in diameter shall be screened and camouflaged from public view.
  6. Installation will not exceed 12 feet in height above ground in operating positions.
