The Compliance Deposit is separate and in addition to the fee for the permit. It will be held in a special account and will be returned in full on completion of the project, provided the terms for the issuance of the permit have been met. The balance of the compliance deposit belongs to and will be refunded to the homeowner.
Those terms include the following:
- Securing permit before start of construction.
- Requesting the two inspections as stipulated.
- Any desired changes to the design as originally approved must be approved
by the Committee of Architecture before being carried out.
- Project is completed within allotted timeframe.
