NCOA PERMITS ARE VALID FOR ONE YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ISSUE.
Permits are open until final inspection is passed. Final inspection can be requested after finished grading, landscaping, painting and site clean up are completed.
IT IS THE GOAL OF THE NCOA TO BENEFIT OUR NEIGHBORHOODS BY KEEPING THE TIMEFRAME FOR CONSTRUCTION AT A MINIMUM.
Your permit start date may be adjusted to the start date of construction by notifying the NCOA IN WRITING of the date you break ground. You may notify us via e-mail at info@npoa-ncoa.org or via mail at 16810 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Suite 216. This must be done AT THE TIME CONSTRUCTION starts.
Six month extensions are automatically deducted from the compliance deposit after the one-year permit expires:
First six month extension - $ 100.00
Second six month extension - $ 250.00
Third six month extension - $ 500.00
After 3rd extension expires - Balance of deposit
If a final inspection is not completed by the expiration of the 3rd extension, a new permit must be applied for. Current permit fees will apply.
Upon written notification of substantial completion of a new home, the committee can allow an additional 180 days to complete the landscape. Written notification can be made via e-mail, or U.S. mail AT THE TIME OF SUBSTANTIAL COMPLETION.
I UNDERSTAND THAT PERMIT EXTENSIONS ARE AUTOMATICALLY DEDUCTED FROM MY COMPLIANCE DEPOSIT PER THE ABOVE SCHEDULE. OUTSTANDING BALANCES MUST BE PAID IN ORDER TO GRANT EXTENSIONS.
