NEIGHBORHOOD COMMITTEE OF ARCHITECTURE

APPLICANT CHECK LIST

Submit two copies of the site plan, floor plan and elevations for your project.  Photos of existing structures are very helpful.     

 Civil Engineered Site/Drainage Plan Check List  (2 copies)

___ Drawn to scale (1”=10’) with north arrow, plat-block-lot, zoning, address and owner's name. 

       Cut/fill, disturbance coverage calc’s.  24x36 paper preferable. 

       Lot boundary lines and their dimensions.  “Building Envelope” and/or “Building

       Development” boundaries.

___ Footprint of structure(s) on site, driveway, walks and all walls including wall height.

___ Existing and proposed finished topography lines at 2’ intervals.  Use benchmark

       as required on site/grading plans. 

___ Show existing native vegetations: Saguaros 6+’ high, healthy trees with 4+”

       trunk at base and any other cacti or shrubs.

___ Indicate all proposed drainage.  Indicate materials & sizes to be used.  Also on

       cut/fill slopes indicate method of revegetation/landscaping.

___ Provide cross sections across proposed building pad if existing grade differential

       is 6’ or more.

 

  1. Floor Plan Check List (2 copies)

___ Drawn to scale (1/4”=1’ min.) 24/36 paper preferable.

___ Label all additional rooms, call out all materials and locate all additional

       mechanical unit(s) with screen walls.

 

  1. Exterior Elevations Check List (2 copies)

___ Drawn to scale (1/4”=1’ min.) with dimensioned height.  24x36 paper preferable.

___ Show complete elevations of proposed structure(s) and if an addition/remodel,

       show existing residence (1-4 elevations depending on project).

___ Identify all materials and colors.  Indicate detailing for windows/doors (pop-out

or 3” min. recess).  If remodel/addition, all colors and details must match existing     residence.

      ___ Indicate proposed grade lines on elevations, include proposed FF & FG numbers.

             Extended stem walls shall be covered with stucco to match house walls.

      ___ Indicate screen walls for additional mechanical unit(s) and/or any other

             wall adjacent to the house.

      ___ PHOTOS of existing structures to be remodeled or added to.
